Within each of us lies the capacity to behave with compassion and joy, create unspeakable acts of cruelty, and also for stagnation or inaction. Humanness lies in the natural struggle between these dynamics.

In my creative process I allow myself to draw influence from current events, personal experiences, and the thoughts that arise within me. I create works where action and the movement involved in creating is present. The markings, shapes, and colors used are informed by the internal reaction to the subject matter. Being human is chaos refined, and that is how I depict it.

These works are seen for their non-duality and non-absolute truth. They are intended to create a visceral, personal reaction and perception should be unadulterated.
